Q: What is Rapitow?
A: Rapitow is a Canadian company that provides complete automobile roadside assistance coverage for our members. Memberships are $9/month for your primary vehicle, $7/month for additional vehicles. Additional drivers can be added at no cost.
Q: How does Rapitow Work?
A: When you need roadside assistance, just tap the Rapitow app and the closest service provider in our network is sent to your location. Rapitow is fast and easy to use.
Q: How will I know that my service call has been accepted?
A: Rapitow will notify you when a service provider is on the way, you can even track their approach with the Rapitow map. It takes approximately 2-3 minutes for a service provider to pick up your call.
Q: How long will it take for someone to come and help me?
A: It takes approximately 2-3 minutes for a service provider to pick up your call and, on average, a Rapitow service provider arrives within 15 minutes. That’s 4 times faster than the industry average.
Q: What about car accidents?
A: Rapitow memberships are for roadside assistance. Should you be involved in an accident please contact your insurance company.
Q: What is included in the membership?
A: Your Rapitow membership includes 4 services calls per year per vehicle. You can call us for tows, boosts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery or winching (if you’re stuck).
All costs are covered by your membership.
Q: If I buy a membership can I use it right away?
A: Rapitow memberships take 48 hours to activate. You will be notified when your account is ready to use.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: We accept any major credit card.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Rapitow memberships are annual memberships billed monthly. If you do not want to renew your annual membership set the Auto-Renewal (in the app’s Setting Screen) to "No".
Q: How much does it cost to add other cars to my account?
A: Your primary vehicle is $9/month and every additional vehicle is $7/month. Each vehicle can request 4 service calls per year.
Q: How much does it cost to add other drivers to my account?
A: There is no charge to add additional drivers to your account. Anyone can drive your vehicle and they will be covered by your Rapitow membership.
Q: Rapitow is a smartphone app, what kind of phone do I need?
A: You will need an Android 2.2 phone or an IPhone 4S or newer.
Q: Will I get any benefits if I invite friends and family to become Rapitow Members?
A: You will get 1 month off for every person that signs up using your Member Number. Not only will you get one month off, but we’ll give your friend one month off as well. You can invite as many people as you want and get a free month for every person that signs up (max 12 per year).
